Paid Ranking Disclosure
What determines your position
Positions on STAYCLASH are determined solely by cumulative paid contributions made by the account that controls a stay. 1 EUR contributed = 1 accumulative point. The stay with the highest score holds the higher position. This is not a review, quality, or star ranking, and it is not an endorsement or certification of any kind by STAYCLASH.
What a contribution is — and is not
A contribution is a payment made to occupy or defend a position on the leaderboard. It is not a purchase of goods or services, not a booking, not an advertisement placement with guaranteed delivery, and not an investment. Contributions accumulate for as long as STAYCLASH operates and are not reduced or reset except for legitimate corrections described in our Terms (fraud, disputes, chargebacks, or auditable errors).
No guarantees
No position, ranking duration, traffic, impressions, exposure, or booking outcome is guaranteed at any position, including #1. Anyone can pay to take a higher position at any time; your position can change at any moment.
When participation starts
Participation and public visibility begin once your payment is confirmed by our payment provider (Stripe) and applied to the ranking. Clicking "pay" does not itself secure a position — only a confirmed, successfully applied payment does.
Refunds
Losing your position later, or a change of mind after payment, does not by itself generate an automatic refund. This does not affect any refund or withdrawal rights you have under applicable law. See our Terms for the full policy on disputes, chargebacks, and fraud.
Eligibility
Only the account/organization that controls or is authorized to represent a real, bookable stay may contribute to that stay. STAYCLASH uses automatic checks at signup and may review or suspend listings after the fact if eligibility criteria are not met or false information is provided.
